Who We Are

Founded in 2012 by Francis Osei-Appiah FRSA, Reform Restore Respect (RRR) is Kent and Medway’s leading anti-crime, anti-gang, and anti-knife education charity, delivering powerful PSHEE assemblies and early-intervention workshops to vulnerable young people in schools and colleges.

Our Founder

Francis Osei-Appiah

Reform Restore Respect’s Founder, CEO and Presenter, spent 9 years in prison due to making wrong decisions in his teenage and twenties. During his time in prison, Francis educated himself to a BA [Hons] degree, making very effective use of his time in incarceration.

Following his release from prison in 2010, Francis managed to secure a range of jobs in the health and education sectors, making use of the multiple qualifications he had gained in prison.

Francis also felt a deep need to give something back to the community he had wronged and so set about forming his own charity - Reform Restore Respect - established in February 2012. In the ensuing 13 years, Francis has delivered his multi-award winning workshops in Kent primary and secondary schools, colleges and youth venues to almost 45,000 attendees, achieving an Overall Average Positive Student Feedback Score of 98% from responses to those young people who returned their post-workshop feedback forms.

Francis is also a Kent Ambassador, one of a group of 90 or so people who are dedicated to promoting the county of Kent on a local, regional and national basis.

In May 2025, Francis and his wife were thrilled to attend HM King Charles III’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in recognition of his campaigning mission to ensure that young people in Kent are kept safe from making wrong choices and catastrophic decisions in their early years.
