Reform Restore Respect and our founder, Francis Osei-Appiah, have received numerous awards and honours, from local commendations to national recognition, including an invitation to His Majesty the King’s garden party at Buckingham Palace. These acknowledgements reflect our lasting impact in communities and commitment to preventing crime.


In September 2023, Kent Charity Awards awarded Reform Restore Respect with the Judges’ Special Recognition Award for giving back to the community, including delivering anti-crime workshops to more than 37,000 across Kent to deter them from a life of crime.

In March 2020, Reform Restore Respect was awarded with the Kent High Sheriff Award for continual contribution in supporting children and young people in Kent with our early intervention work in schools and colleges.

On 19th June 2015, Sevenoaks District Council Community Safety Partnership nominated Reform Restore Respect Charity for the North West Kent Crime Prevention Panel Safety Awards 2015, where we gained a certificate in recognition of our outstanding effort in enhancing community safety in Sevenoaks and also a certificate for the Charity Project of the Year in the Sevenoaks District Council Community & Voluntary Awards 2015.

Been specially commended by our auditors Calcutt Matthews Accountants for ‘Commendation for high standards of procedures adopted by the charity ….. which warrant particular merit’.

In October 2013, Reform Restore Respect was awarded the National Redemption and Justice Inspirational Award 2013 voted as the winner by a public vote.

In May 2025, our founder and CEO, Francis Osei-Appiah was nominated by the Lord Lieutenant of Kent, The Lady Colgrain, to be invited to His Majesty the King’s annual garden party at Buckingham Palace.

In December 2024, our founder and CEO, Francis Osei-Appiah was awarded ‘the Chief Officer’s Commendation’ for exceptional leadership in support of volunteering by Kent Police.

In October 2024, our founder and CEO, Francis Osei-Appiah was invited and inducted to join Kent Ambassadors.
